Corralejo is known for its 8km of white sandy beaches. From the small Town Beach right by the harbour to Galera Beach with its beach bars and safe swimming, or ‘Hotel Beach’ - nestled between the two Rui hotels - with its gradual decline into turquoise waters, there really is something for everyone.

Festivals and carnivals

Corralejo Carnival usually takes place in February or March and features the ever-popular Drag Queen Gala. Other popular events include Fiestas del Carmen; the Windsurfing and Kitesurfing Championship; and the unmissable International Kite Festival – amateur pilots are welcome to take part, so grab your kite and head down to the dunes!
